Rooms and 3D views disappearing from dashboard
When I save a 3D view it overwrites any previous saved 3D view - so I can't view my room from more than one angle?
So I started using Save As.. to create a copy of my room, and that worked to a point.
I managed to get 4 3D views of my though not the 4 I thought I had created, and as I saved more, others would disappear.
I came back to my dashboard today to find only 2 3D views remain, both of which are the same.
It's a complete mess.

If you want multiple views of the room you have to use ''save as'' or green tab on top ''take a 3D photo'' move the camera each time before.
If you use only ''save'' it will overwrite your your design each time.

You are right. You really have to use the ''save as'' option in the ''file'' tab if you want different views of your design.It will create a ''new'' room everytime.You can keep the same name or change it,no matter.

save as doesn't work reliably either, you end up with a new name, but the old one disappears.

I use Save As everytime and I never have a problem with the image overwriting a previous one - whether I use a new name (generally I do) or not.

Every time you save a room we take a snapshot of the current state and the current render. You can see these snapshots by selecting "Browse 3D room history" under "Your 3D rooms" in the 3D planner. You can also see HQ snapshots on the detail page by clicking "Replay history". This feature can be used to create a walk-through of your design or highlight certain features.
Try "Replay history" on these examples:
