Chanderlier restoration
I bought an old glass chandelier a couple of years ago.I wasnt ready to get it fixed up here as we were waiting to see about moving home.So I stored it in a large cardboard box with some packing to protect it. Unfortunately it wasnt enough as due to a mishap ( dont ask) 3 of the 4 glass arms have snapped off. I have looked to see how best to glue these and there are some suggestions on the net. However I would like to find out what is the very best way to repair the arms. I cannot afford to get it done professionally. There are various superglues around etc but it must be something that will really bond the arms strongly permanently due to the weight the cups with heavy glass droppers will add to them.
Anyone able to help please?
Thank you KK

You could try Liquid Nails repair adhesive. It dries clear and is heavy duty for heavy objects.

Look on there website to pick the right one for your chandelier: http://www.liquidnails.com/index.jsp then if you are in the uk go to http://www.godfrey-diy.co.uk/adhesives/cat471.html to buy. You could also check B&Q for their Unibond No More Nails Ultra Power if you can't find the Liquid Nails range you want.
Hope this helps!! Good Luck!!!
