Cotswolds barn conversion: Kitchen
Time for the kitchen to be designed! Four rooms in and we've designed the Entrance hall, the Bedroom 2, Bathroom 2 and the study.
The kitchen is always a challenge... modern or traditional, island or table etc etc. It seems as though there are so few options but the ideas can be limitless.
Copy the 3D floorplan and start your design. The owners are relatively traditional in their taste with some antique furniture, so consider a design that reflects their personality. Of course, some modern interiors might be great for ideas!
Requirement for the kitchen are: 1 oven, 1 hob, 1 fridge, 1 freezer, 1 sink. The rest is up to your imagination.

1. To copy, click on the button above to be taken through to the Cotswolds barn 3D room.
2. Click on the left menu item 'Copy this 3d design' which launches the 3D room planner.
3. Save the room as a different name so that each room can be a new design. The room will be photo-quality in 2 hours.

We will continue to discuss this room for two weeks until 1 May, so there is plenty of time to design this room. Post the image or a link to your public room in this thread so that it can inspire others with their design.

Looking forward to this one. Huge room and it's for a kitchen, nothing better in my view :D Does your mum have any preference over type of hob? A place like this really needs an aga I think!

It does feel like it needs an AGA. I would go for it!
I struggle with kitchens but will try my best to design this room - I am glad we have a larger room to play with this week, although small was a great challenge!

With the current planner limitations here is my best stab ... I couldn't include a sink (so imagine it please in the units adjacent to the utility room). The appliances and larder cupboards have been housed in the utility room to keep the kitchen as streamlined as possible and offer lots of worktop space and cupboards that are smart enough to work with the farmhouse table dining area for quiet family meals. The table is set by the window to get plenty of light and a view out of gardens to be landscaped.

The kitchen was a lot of fun to design, so thank you to everyone that got involved.
Here is a folder of all of the rooms. Feel free to add more and we will keep adding them to the folder:
