Living room with weird door placement
Hi all,
This is my first time using a program like this. I'd like to come up with a better design for my joint kitchen/living area:
All of the items in the room represent the actual furniture that I own, though I'd be up for trying some new couch styles. The TV currently sits on top of a chest like the TV stand in the design. I just can't figure out a good way for people to be able to see the TV and also keep the front door clear. The door is in such a weird place. So, if anyone has suggestions or new ideas for how to arrange things, I'd love to see/hear them!

Dear designer,
are the walls the same color you designed on the picture you provide us, would you like to change the colors or you like them the way they are'
I presume the kitchen area is where the green wall are, but how comes the kitchen cooker is in the middle?
hat colors and style do you like?

This is a Work in Progress but I thought I would see what you thought of the sofa shape and furniture reorganisation?

Hi cinawp, I've given your apartment a try. I've used rather strong colors as the rendering was not coming out well using lighter colors, I also put in a different sofa and two rugs to pull the areas together. You said eclectic and although I'm not exactly sure what you had in mind I decided to use colors that would enhance your furniture. I did change the color of your tall bookcase to black, hope you like it. :)

Hi there, I used all "your" furniture and added a sideboard. Switched the dining and living areas around, hope you like it.

So sorry cinawp. Okay, could you tell me where the outlets are located? Where I live outlets must be located on each wall and at least two outlets on long walls. Yes, your apartment is a tight squeeze when it comes to placing furniture and still be able to view the tv. Just a few questions: how wide is the door, does it swing towards the windows and what are the actual measurements from the door to the wall with the largest window?
I would like to try again and this would be very helpful. :)

Hi, I replaced your couch and chair with a corner sofa and added an electric fireplace in the dining area. Hope you like it.
