On the mydeco q&a; homepage there is a "Rated Tradesmen" link where you can search for, well, rated tradesmen. I think the point is that the tradesmen are rated by the general public, so hopefully you are getting the most honest opinions.. -
check a trade. and also the governing bodies, ie plumbers have to be Corgi registered to be allowed to go near gasReport post

Trades people are rated by their customers.I've heard of other sites that are a bit 'iffy' but I'm registered with this one so I know it's for real.

Try Networx.com you can get matched with conctratcors in just about every industry. They only list pre-screened and licensed contractors. You can also read reviews.
