Update on a budget for Spring

Hi, I'm on a limited budget, what are the key things that I should be buying this season? I want to refresh my home for Spring / Summer but am not sure where to start...

  • i would get started with furniture for your outdoor space, as you will be spending a lot of time out and about!  look for stylish and / or colorful chairs and tables, even look to the designers as their outdoor furniture can almost be quite affordable  - check  out Jasper Morrison and his air chair or just go for bold color as this will bring a splash of color to your spring palette.

don't forget outdoor lighting - nightlights/ candles and lots of pretty lanterns!

  • hey vicky! i would go for some cool folk-inspired throw pillows. the trend is huge right now and a great way to inject some color into your space without spending too much. some colored glass accessories would also bring some summery glimmer, and are really popular right now. good luck!

  • First things first - declutter your home. Spring/summer is all about out with the old and in with the new....well that's what I tell myself as it gives me an excuse to shop some more! I'm loving simple white walls and bold coloured accessories at the moment. That way it doesn't have to cost the earth and you can easily change it next season if you get bored of it!
