My Living Space, so far two seater green chesterfields x 2, cream walls
So I now own a house very excited, but now I need to fill it and put my stamp on it, but I need help.
I have cream walls- very boring... 2 lovely green chesterfield sofas, which I plan to put opposite each other.
I need colour on the walls, curtains or maybe the venetian blinds in oak.
I have my eye on the oversized desk lamp at MADE, in white or red.
Can anyone help with ideas pls?
What period of house it is?, and what type of things do you like, modern?, colourful? etc.
If you create your floor plan and find a close match to your sofas, people can have a play around with your design.
Might be a good idea to create a moodboard with your green chesterfields and the lamp you like as a starting point, then people will get a better idea of the things you like.
The house is around 15 years old so new. No real features and looks like a rental house, as it was we we got it.
I have created a moodboard, My First Lounge.
The room is small the sofas are opposite each other and have woddern feet, I love this lamp, really not sure what to do with everything else, please help.

Welcome to mydeco Newbie :)
If the colors in your picture of the sofa is correct that is a blue-green or what I also call a cool green. Since it is a small room you could choose to go with white walls except perhaps one or two where you could use a different color or even a wallpaper with a small pattern which has more than one color, one that will pick up the colors of the sofas or whatever you like most.
Perhaps you could do up a 3d design for us to get a better idea of your room...size, windows and door(s), ceiling light if any and electrical outlets for positioning lamps etc.
I agree that creamy white walls would be good and that on a feature wall, wallpaper including pale green colours would be good. Also you could include some green coloured paintings on the walls you paint cream to kind of merge the two colours together. Maybe if you uploaded a floor plan we could have a bit of a comp to give some ideas to you lol :)
