Who cares what other people think? It's your bedroom and your space, so make it your own. I like sliding panel wardrobes - they're a great way of disguising your items - I'd go for one that blends in with the walls to create the illusion of more space.Report post

I had a similar problem with a bedroom in a flat I was going to buy. Our budget and the bedroom was small, so we ended up choosing Ikea sliding door wardrobes, which are actually quite ok and nice.Report post
The sale fell through, so we moved to a different flat. This bedroom is a medium sized bedroom (so we could use normal opening doors on the wardrobes), we ended up buying Ikea Pax mirrored wardrobes for the whole length. I think it looks great and really reflects the light and opens up the whole space. -

There are many different types of sliding wardrobes if you are planning to move after a few years freestanding options are the best as you can take them with you. Colours and sizes are abundant.
